Our Vision
Here at The Little Owls Nest we strive to create a fun and educational environment for your little learner. Our program mixes student led, play based, and teacher directed activites. Children can learn skills through an imaginary trip to the grocery store, an outside scavenger hunt, building towers, creating works of art and helping each other. We set up an environment that will not only foster your child's creativity but will also set your child up for success. We want your child to succeed emotionally, physically, socially and academically.
Our classroom is intentionally set up for your little learner to develop skills in Math, Science, language/literacy, creative arts, fine motor/gross motor and social skills.

We offer 3 program choices to benefit every families needs.
Preschool only
This is for our families looking for a program for their child to gain social skills and familiarize with a school like setting. This is the perfect opportunity to help your little learner develop skills physically, socially, and emotionally while engaging in STEM activities as well as Math, science and literacy. We want to help your little learners develop problem solving and decision making skills before they head off to Elementary school.
These programs run from 8-noon with the option to pick which days work best for your family. You can come 5 mornings a week or come as little as 2. The choice is yours. Your Child DOES NOT have to be potty trained. We assist you in potty training when your child is ready.
Full Day Childcare
For our working parents we offer a full day childcare. Your child will engage in our preschool program in the morning, have a designated rest time and socialize in the afternoon.
Afterschool Care
We offer afterschool care for our Elementary aged friends. Offering school pick ups from designated schools in Yuba City. Once our school aged friends join us for the day they receive a snack and homework help. Once homework is done they join our full day childcare friends till pick up.
